Christine Armishaw - Eventing
Hailing from NZ, I'm a Kiwi rider that moved over to NSW just over four years ago to further develop my riding career, bringing my two NZ-bred horses with me. I'm a competitive event rider and showjumper, as well as an accredited EA riding coach.
As a Level 1 EA Coach, I coach people and train horses full-time, plus run regular jumping and XC clinics which have proven very popular.
On top of this, I am also an equine journalist and write and create video content for Equestrian Hub Magazine and their online portal. Recently, I became one of their Equestrian Hub Coach Mentors, to mentor up-and-coming riders who are the winners/recipients of the Equestrian Hub Delivering Dreams Scholarships.
Looking ahead, I have a show jumping training day to attend at the Oaks Sport Horses, I'm hoping to follow that up with a show jumping competition at Sydney Jump Club.
From there, the plan is to attend events from August onwards, including Sydney, Canberra, Equestriad, Albury, Berry, Berrima and Wallaby Hill, alternating my horses to take them to the events best suited to each of them.

It's incredibly important to me to keep my competition horses in great condition and use trusted equine experts, in order to keep them feeling happy and well, thus able to perform at their best.
Now, after having moved out to Otford Valley to set up an agistment and training centre, I use Illawarra Equine Centre, the most recommended veterinary centre in the Illawarra area.

Christine and Fanta competed at the Scott Brodie Equestrian dressage day, wearing their Illawarra Equine Centre saddle pad! They rode a beautiful test, the score sheet consisting of mainly 8s, 8.5s and 9s and went home with a 4th place ribbon and very big smiles.
